We meet with you in-person or digitally to discuss the parameters of your film and the details that will make it truly unique and personal to you.

We plan out your interview (as well as any with additional interviewees), select filming locations, curate interview questions and prompts, gather photographs and videos already in your possession, select filming dates, etcetera.

Filming is carried out by our dedicated crew using state-of-the-art cameras, lenses, as well as lighting and sound equipment to best capture each moment. Filming includes all interviews and additional vignettes (family time, joint interviews, visiting personally meaningful locations, day-in-the-life moments, etcetera). Interview locations are staged before filming to make them film-ready. In most cases, interviews can be accomplished in just a few hours. Additional vignettes can be captured same-day or as needed.

With all footage captured, our team will carefully and thoughtfully edit and splice all materials together, including your pre-provided images and videos, into an integrated Time Capsule Film. This process includes custom colour-grading, sound design, and scoring. We will collaborate with you on specific requests or desires, particularly on music selection.

Your Time Capsule Film will be delivered in multiple formats for easy accessibility, sharing, and archival. Your film will be embedded onto a custom and private dedicated page on our website that you can share with whomever you wish. This page can be password protected if so desired, and will allow for loved ones to access, share, and download your film. You’ll also receive a hardcopy backup of your film on a hard drive. Depending on the package you selected, your dedicated webpage and hard drive will also include a selection of stills and/or behind-the-scenes photos from your film, which you can share with loved ones. These photos may also be provided in printed form depending on your package selection.
